- A car
share survey has been complied to establish the feasibility of a
SomerVille car share business. We would appreciate 5 minutes of your
time to complete the survey. Car-sharing is a system of private vehicle
rental, with the business owning, maintaining and insuring all the
vehicles. It works by members paying an annual membership fee, and then
only paying for their vehicle use. It is cheaper than both conventional
vehicle rental and private vehicle ownership. In addition members have
access to different types of vehicles. Each car-share vehicle can
replace between 4 and 8 privately owned vehicles.

Online Enterprise Survey
deadline has been extended to Wednesday 11th May. If you are struggling
with how to fit a few diverse business ideas into one survey, the tip
from Stacey is to complete the survey multiple times (once for each

have no idea about the marketing or financial side of things, then
please complete the survey and only answer the questions you are
comfortable with. At the Enterprise Workshop this Saturday 14th May
at 10 am, the survey results will be analysed and discussed and the
feasibility of potential businesses will be assessed. Come along and
find out what businesses are planned and also what opportunities will be
available for businesses and employees.

and then on to a sleepover before the Governance Workshop on the Sunday
from 10am-4pm. It’s the time of year at SomerVille to harvest the
olives. There are 13 olive trees in the orchard. They are looking
healthy and are ready to have their fruit collected. This process would
involve probably an afternoon’s work collecting and then sorting out
leaves and stalks from the olive itself. There has been an estimate from
Good Authority #1 that there may be about 100kg of olives. Please
contact Stacey for more details.

at SomerVille .

please RSVP to Carolyn Groves on 9267 9292 or email Carolyn at

13/04/2005 - The current lot layout survey closes
tomorrow. If you haven't already done so, you still have time to complete the
survey at:
http://www.greenedge.org/survey/lots.asp. The survey will take no more than
a minute of your time (there are only three questions!) and will help us in
reviewing the draft lot layout that was completed last year.

Just a quick reminder about the Open Day this Sunday from 10am to 4pm on
site in Chidlow. The tours have been scheduled for 11:30 am and 1:30 pm.
Remember to bring a friend!
Note that Old Northam Road access to Chidlow is currently closed due to the
Great Eastern Highway road works. Motorists coming from Perth should turn left
at Lion Street and then right at Elliot Road to arrive in Chidlow. I look
forward to seeing you on the day.
