The SomerVille Ecovillage™
The day will start at 3pm with a story telling (A story telling in this sense is words spoken by a story teller and actions performed by the children.) The story is about all of us and our families and how we have all been part of a larger story. It is a sort of creation myth about ecovillage dreamings. After the story telling there will be an end of year wrap, a toast to our successes, a unique SomerVille ritual with lucky dips and ice creams for the children and for those that are interested you will have the opportunity to visit the spots identified as high energy areas and get to see were we plan to place the Nemeton. At about 6:30 we will break for dinner, then continue the celebration throughout the night with a party organised by the Young Adults Group (open to all), and will feature a dance floor, lights and music provided by DJ's and a late night barbeque (about 11pm). A special effort has been made to choose a variety of music styles throughout the night to reflect the diversity of our community We hope to see you there
